Jet BAT Aeration Tanks

• Jet tanks hold 1170 gallons and are constructed of concrete.

• Some Jet tanks have a pre-treatment tank consisting of 500 or 1000 gallons.

• Some Jet systems include a sump pump depending on configuration.

• The Jet tank design incorporates three compartments. The primary, aeration and clarifier.

• Normal cleaning is done from the primary and aeration compartments.

• If not on a service agreement ONLY primary tank should be cleaned.

• Jet BAT tanks have no secondary treatment.

• The Jet system uses an aerator that mixes and oxygenates the liquid helping break down solid matter.

• Jet BAT tanks have a media in the aeration compartment that needs periodic maintenance.
