Hoot Aeration Tanks

Most Hoot tanks in our area hold 1500 gallons and are constructed of concrete.

 Hoot systems usually include a sump pump that pumps effluent from the tank to the mound or in some instances to the storm sewer.

Hoot systems use a compressor to aerate which helps break-down the solid matter.

Periodic maintenance is needed to the compressor as well as regular pumping.
